Last week, we were back from the trip to Penang and Genting. Dear was down with cold.
On thursday, 19 Feb 09, i received a call from him that he was having fever. Immediately after i knocked off, i went straight to his home.
When i reached Yew Tee MRT station, i saw that the queue was rather short at the Cash Deposit machine and i went straight to the queue. Finally, it was my turn to deposit my money.. However, there was a notice stating that "Only accepting cash deposit" Since the machine was fine with cash deposit, i continue with it. Then in the middle of counting of the cash, the screen appears "Sorry, we are unable to process the transaction" and this statment appeared twice. At that point of time, i thought "hmm, may be there are some folded notes!" Suddenly, the screen appeared this statement "The machine is out of its service". OOOOOooooooMG!!!!.. What the HELL~~~.. There was no confirmation whether my money was being deposited to my account. Then it printed out this kind of receipt..
Immediately, i switched to another queue at the ATM machine. Damm it, my cash was not in my account yet. I called to the hotline to report this faulty and stupid machine. However, the call kept on engaged. All the officers were not free to attend to me. I was soooo angry and upset about it. Then after 10 min, i decided to tell Dear, he helped me to call the hotline. Soon, he was able to reach one officer, she told him that she had made a report to that and will return the $$$ once they confirmed that this report is real.
I was sooo angry that how unreliable it was.. The next day, i went back to the same machine again. O the machine is back to normal then where are my money.. Where have it gone??? Dear called to the hotline again.. They said they will return the money at 6pm..
Around 4 pm, i received a sms from bank.. "Fr _ _ _: We have processed the claim on your cash jammed in cash deposit machine. The amount has been credited into your account. Thank you for banking with _ _ _."
In future, i make sure that i deposit my money when the branch is open..
