Obsessed???

Obsessed??? Am i really getting obsessed? I wonder??? Recently, my temper is getting out of control.. I am getting scared and worried that will lead me to depression.

Initially, i told myself that I am desired to be who I am so I can control myself away from whatever annoying stuffs but failed. I FAILED.. So sad, what's going on with me? WHAT's WRONG WITH ME? T_T Perhaps i am thinking too much, too obsessed with something that may not be happening....

Yes, i should not worry too much about the past and futures but miss the presents .. I should enjoy the presents instead. PRESENT is what everyone should not miss it.. Because "PRESENT" is a gift for everyone who is still present, live happily and healthy.. =)

Love vs Marriage

What is love ?

A student asked a teacher. "What is love ?"

The teacher said, "In order to answer your question. Go to the padi field and choose the biggest padi and come back. But the rule is: you can go through them only once and cannot turn back to pick."

The student went to the field, go through the first row and saw one big padi stalk, but he wondered....maybe there is a bigger one later. Then he saw another bigger one... but thought may be there is a even bigger one waiting for him.
Later, when he finished more than half of the padi field, he start to realise that the padi was not as big as the previous one he saw, he knew he has missed the biggest one, and he regretted !!!! So, he went back to the teacher with empty hands.

The teacher told him, "...this is love... you keep looking for a better one, but when you realised later, you have already missed the person...."

"What is marriage then ?" the student asked.

The teacher said, "In order to answer your question, go to the corn field and choose the biggest corn and come back. But the rule is: you can go through them only once and cannot turn back to pick."

The student went to the corn field. This time he was careful not to repeat the previous mistake. When he reached the middle of the field, he has picked one medium corn that he felt satisfied, and come back to the teacher.

The teacher told him, "this time you bring back a corn.... you look for one that is just nice, and you have faith and believe this is the best one you got.... this is marriage."

Learning...

"Learning??? What am i learning now?" Actually, i am doing self-study of Bazi and Fengshui.. Frankly speaking, I want to take all these commerical courses but the courses can up to 3k and above.. Scary.. How can I afford to go for all these courses though certs are given if I manage to finish the whole modules. Still I rather stick to my own time own target of self study.. I rather use my money on more meaningful stuff like pay my bills or go for holiday.. Though i am pretty keen in all these now but i know that i should spend my money wisely especially during this period of time (Hard time / Harsh market)

Right now what is my stage of self study.. Haha juz a very very beginner / basic.. Because i am still reading the basic Bazi book.. I will purchase more books to upgrade myself and get some seniors to guide me along.. Cheer for me that i will not be another "3 Minutes Hot" .. hehe..

Will the prophecy come true?

"Will the prophecy come true?" This sentence has been pondering in my mind since last month.. I do not know how to describe this feeling. Till now, I still do not know whether I want these prophecy to come true anot... Though deep in my heart, I only want part of the prophecy to come true.. The only way to know whether these prophecy do come true anot is to "Wait & See".

Funeral

I like this video alot - Meaningful and touching. Though the lady gave a simple speech.. She shows how much love she had for her late husband.. It is what we always say "True Love does Exist"...

Should We Be Resigned to Destiny?

We all know the power of motivational speech and technique like Neuro-linguistic programming (NLP). Yet, it is often contradicting that people who attend motivational talk organised by the likes of Anthony Robbins also consult fortune tellers. Presumably,it could be that they are eager to improve their fortune and curious about their future. For the Chinese, destiny has always been a fundamental aspect of one’s belief.

If everything is fixed by Fate, then why do we need motivation? Yet, deep down our mind, we know that blindly following Fate is often fatalistic and can be an enemy of motivation. Having discussed the issue of destiny with a fellow forum member, I felt that there is a need to discuss more about the concept of one’s destiny.

The many sayings claiming about Destiny’ s all pervasive influence on all walks of life showed that the Chinese culture acknowledges Destiny’ s stronghold. We all tend to have a passive resignation to Destiny because Destiny seems so mysterious and so powerful. When one studies carefully the record of human experience, we would have noticed that the majority of humanity are not living in good fortune. If Destiny really rules, then Destiny is more prone to create misfortune. Realising this, we must cultivate the desire to alter Destiny. And this is where motivational technique and chinese metaphysics come hand in hand.

Let me list one example whereby the ancient Chinese classic I Ching motivates us to overcome the hurdle of Destiny.

…the Book of Changes; hence it enables us to penetrate and understand the movements of the light and dark, of life and death, gods and demons. This knowledge makes possible mastery over Fate, because Fate can be shaped if its laws are known (Wilhelm 1951, p 296)

Hence, to overcome Destiny is to first understand that Destiny is real and that you need to know what Destiny is before you could overcome it! Know the rules of the game and you can bend it!
‘Fate is decided by Heaven, happiness is sought by oneself.’
